Simtropolis down

As the topic heading says Simtropolis is down, the full statement of what happened is here

As a result my banished club and @kid1293 clubs are offline for the foreseeable future.

It also means all the files that were on the blackliquid sites are temporarily gone as well.

Am beeping those people that had files on the site so they are aware of what's happened in no particular order.

I know on the discord site they were downloading banished files from Simtropolis so this is obviously going to have a wider impact, also kid had set up a number of topics on how to create banished mods on their club.

Also gone are the links for downloading the "colonial charter" mod and also MegaMod.

How long the site is going to be offline is unknown, if I get any additional information as a site moderator will let you guys know.

I also have backups of everything that was uploaded into the banished clubs, hopefully most of the files should be here at WoB, so if anyone is desperate for a file and they can't find it on any of the existing banished sites let me know and I'll have rummage thru my file backups.

It always sucks when a site goes down, though I am glad they have a backup.

I think you should be OK, but difficult to tell at this stage, I did think about putting a notice out on the discord site given they are using the Simtropolis guest account to download banished files, but they will get the offline message when they try and download a file and it might give the discord users a push to set up WoB accounts

I have a site, called Paegin Sims It is a site with over 10,000 objects and sets, from when I was Riverwillows, a recolorist for the Sims 2. It has my full library of creations, It has everything, all catagories. If you doubt me, I am still at the Sims Resource, although they broke all my links - LONG STORY, lol.  We got pissed at each other, I'll tell you in pm if you are interested, just ask.
I'm also at BeckylynnSims as a guest artist. I am retired, but you can still download everything for free without having to register or log in. Also, I have included all meshes with my stuff that uses other's cc. I just maintain the site, as so many are down. You can leave msgs in the THOUGHTS thread. Anyway, just thought I'd let you sims 2 people know there is another site out there, I have created for Sims 2, since the Sim 1 days.
