Chapter 11

We built a few workplace houses for young single who wanted to live and work in the spring area and for visitors with children that needed more space than the rooms offered.  But we realized the area would have less appeal to visiting families with children as the baby bunnies and chick grew up; there would be less to keep the children occupied.

We immediately began developing the area to the south of town for summer visitors.   The area was about the same size as the spring area but had fewer trees and more sun.  There was a large pond with a sand beach; the water was shallow and perfect for wading and playing in.

There were 2 summer hedgerows in the area that had apple trees, wild oats, honey, rosehips, and strawberries; hobbits love strawberries, we had to pick some right away.  The strawberry plants had spread from one of the hedgerows; there was a nice patch of the strawberries next to it.   There was not much else in the way of food so we immediately built a bitty market by the bridge from town for the workers.  A tiny rooming house was being built next to it.

Nearby on the lake, a boat rental house was built for one of the young singles who remained here after his family returned home.  He got some tips from the houseboat man on how to build small rowboats and sailboats.  We thought for sure summer visitors would like to be out on the lake in the summer sun.

Chapter 10

We began by building a tiny rooming house, a bait shop, and a food and fish market near the river.  There were 2 downed trees to use as fishing piers, and everyone knows fishing is especially good in spring.  The crappies start biting as soon as the lilac blooms are the size of a mouse's ear, and our lake was full of crappies.

There was a spring hedgerow between the 2 fishing trees with lots of mushrooms, wild oats, asparagus, and hazelnut.  There were plenty of branches for firewood, so the young single who moved into and operated the bait shop had firewood and plenty to eat.

Behind the rooming house a tiny chapel, cemetery, and caretaker's house was built.  Another young single was waiting to move in as caretaker as soon as the house was built.  There was a large patch of asparagus and herbs nearby, and abundance of freshly sprouted wild foods and herbs.  Beautiful yellow daffodils were blooming amidst the flowering trees.  The rest of the development was designed with the visitors in mind.

Near the asparagus patch was a clover patch; the children would have fun trying to find the lucky four-leaf clovers growing in the patch.  They would also enjoy feeding and petting the rabbits in the rabbit garden and playing with the baby chicks in the chicken coop.  A small park was built in front of the rooming house with toys and a swing.  There would be an easter egg hunt and a maypole dance too.  There was plenty to do on the warmer days in the spring area.

Yes I have those little huts on stilts and while I'm not sure my ones are what you were remembering, mine are from the "fountain mod"

My first thought was Angainor88's mods, but after checking, I realized it probably wasn't from there. Then I checked Kid's mods, since he made some with little houses that could have been the ones I was looking for. I checked that other site too, but nothing. Since it wasn't among the mods I expected, I looked through the others, and now I'm stuck without an answer.

I'm the type of person who can't rest until I find what I'm looking for lol.

I had seen that one and was going to include it on the list, but since she mentioned the legs on the huts, I ruled it out as the mod he's looking for.

And at the very end, i will ask the model to go further back of 1 or 2 tiles for making space for the road in front. but just at the end (i prefer still working around the (0.0) central point

the point (0,0) is the intersection of the 2 black lines you see on the picture ^^
(and all the subsequent gray lines you see are 10 tiles away in game)
Also the point (0,0) is the central point when you do "R key" or "T Key" the building is rotating :)
