You might want to check Kid Gothic Fantasy for medieval type houses and buildings, there are castle walls also.

Right now I'm working on making a very medieval looking  series of small towns. I'm using only the most old fashioned of houses and businesses.

1.) I would love more houses that are in the same style as the 1 (and only) house that is included with discrepancy's Pick and Hen Tavern.

There's some covers on Redketchup's Training Camp deco, but I cannot get them to be available when I don't load megamod. When I do use megamod, I cheat by putting other houses under those thatch covers and make them look like old cottages.

2.) I would love for someone to create a sandy beach that looks like the one taht DS's Sand mine makes in the Jetties mod, just without the little fence. That would be perfect.

3.) Kid's Animal Pen, but ghosted so I can drop it over the animals that are included in the farmyards, etc.

YR 60 to 65

I pushed the Bannies to  build the next 2 momuments. well the Bannies pushed  back. we ran out of iron.  with that, tool production decreased.  the city had grown fast enough that they were using up the food reserves.  at the same time, the new trade posts slowed down and weren't being stocked with goods.

the west farmers were already planting more orchards. the miners were already building a DS blast furnace. it was still hectic. other than the iron, they never ran out of anything else. trading had to be adjusted and will need help to move goods closer for them.

the White House from Washington D.C. and Machu Picchu from Peru were completed. we are up to 7 momuments. the city has a grain mill, bakery, ketchup and sugar factories. much of the road grid has been layed out. the 3rd Thompson Trade post will trade for meat and milk.

That's a great coincidence! I've actually been working on a project with a very similar concept for over a year now.

My idea is based on a 'Nomad Invasion' mechanic. The player would place a specific decoration/object outside the settlement to 'call' these Nomads, which then triggers chaos or fires. To deal with this, the mod includes fortifications and Watchtowers with patrolling guards—similar to the existing mods that add guards who bring random items, but adapted for defense.

It's still a work in progress, but I wanted to share that this is exactly the direction I've been taking with my mod. It's cool to see others thinking along the same lines!

Random idea: Would it be possible to have a random NPC horde of "wildlings" periodically come and try to destroy your settlement? Like an event? They would always be at your level of weapon-types, but just show up and you'd have to defend/fight them. Like a tornado or fire incident. Just wondering.

I like this idea, maybe for 3 ppl to get them started on breeding.
